Expedition Asphodel

This game is written and designed by

Mila Fae Müller, Rumo Wehrli, Mischa Geiser and Kit Jenkins. Social media graphic design by Mila Fae Müller. Website by Mischa Geiser.

The mechanics were taken from the wider traditions of international larping.

Many themes, methods and mechanics were heavily inspired by the games Erebus (Sailing4Adventure) and Requiem: Reichskinder (Rolling).

Special thanks to our writers Alana Bennett, Felix Jenkins, Heidi Meyer and Lucky Walsemann as well as our sensitivity readers.

Fae

29, Germany, they/she

has been larping since 2017 starting with wizard school games and slowly branching out. They have experience in larp organising where they

combine a passion with storytelling with a love for spreadsheets.

Outside of larp, they are - fittingly - obsessed with 19th century polar exploration as well as finding

immersive experience in other media.

Mischa

37, Switzerland, he/him

evolved from a World of Warcraft nerd to a larper 20 years ago. Now he plays all over Europe looking for new stories.

Mischa loves creating emotional experiences

and has studied Game Design, founded his own Game Studio and is now working as a Tech Lead for a company creating online learning games. His interests beside larp are plentiful and include

being outside, travelling, climbing, kayaking, dancing and singing, Lego, spending time with friends and a thousand other things
and never having enough time for all of it.

Rumo

25, Switzerland, he/they

found his way to fantasy larps in 2014 before spreading out to roleplaying of all styles and genres and finding a home in the nordic style games that are character and emotion driven.

Larp is the only hobby he has not turned into a job yet.

In the real world, they work as an actor and writer and are interested in approaching larp through the lense of perfoming arts.

Kit

41, Germany/England, they/them

is new to the world of larp but brings experience from many other creative fields. They work as part of a photographer duo with their husband and have a penchant for set design and art direction

They have participated in many live shows as host, director, performer, assistant and stage manager, and as production assistant on short films and photoshoots.

They enjoy singing, creative writing and world building, and collecting weird decorative things.
